Andressa Urach

When she was just 15, Andressa Urach began a romantic relationship and Tiago Costa. After three months of being together the couple moved in with him in his home. Arthur Urach Costa was born in May 2005. The couple broke up after six years of marriage due to disagreements. Andressa Urach relocated to her mom's home in order to stay with her sole child. Following a six-month break, she was fired and decided to take her son back to his father, in hopes of pursuing the life of a better chance and opportunities in Sao Paulo. Being vain, ambitious and a very confident woman, the primary reason for leaving her native South for Sao Paulo, was in seeking fame and fortune. In her book Morri Para Viver Andressa Urach says she suffered sexual abuse throughout her life, a victim of abuse by her foster grandfather that occurred from the age of 2 to 8. She only managed to get rid of all this since her foster grandmother was the one to catch the act and Andressa was able to return home with her mother. She did not know about the abuse she endured until Andressa released her book. Andressa said that prior to when she went through a spiritual change, it was difficult for her to forgive her victim. When I was faced with one of my most difficult choices, I contacted the person who had hurt me sexually. This was no easy feat. It was not easy. After many times of prayer and fasting, I informed him over the phone I was sorry for him. I didn't feel shamed and pleaded with him to forgive me. I didn't justify myself I simply asked for forgiveness. Mariste Urach describes in a video interview with Globo, what she was feeling when she learned of the abuse that her daughter endured. She traveled to the city in which the pedophile is a resident located in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul willing to take revenge on him.
